With a ranking of #23 in North America in 2024, it’s no surprise that Allegory popped up again this year among the 50 best bars on the continent.
However, this year Allegory ranked as the #45 best bar in North America.
Where did Silver Lyan rank among the top 50 best bars in North America?

Coming as a new entry to the ’50 Best’ list of top bars in North America is Silver Lyan, a bar opened by world-renowned mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr. Lyan) in 2020.
This year, Silver Lyan ranked #48 among the best bars in North America, marking the first time it’s made it on the list!
This bar is located in a converted bank vault in Penn Quarter, just a few blocks away from the Smithsonian Complex.
