Amtrak’s latest Big City Savings promotion runs July 9th through July 15th, 2026, with discounted fares available for travel between August 1st and September 30th, 2026.
The sale includes up to 30% off the Flex fare amount on eligible tickets traveling along the Northeast Corridor.
The promotion is valid on Acela and other qualifying Amtrak trains operating between Boston, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C.
Travelers can book discounted Coach fares or Acela Business Class tickets, making it a good opportunity for both budget-conscious travelers and business passengers.
Because Washington Union Station sits at the southern end of the Northeast Corridor, the sale can be used on many of the region’s most popular city pairs, including trips from D.C. to Philadelphia, New York City, New Haven, Providence, Boston and other destinations served along the route.
