After taking cities including Paris, London, and Berlin by storm, a mind-blowing LEGO® exhibit is heading to Washington, D.C. Soon to be unveiled at the Rhode Island Center, the incredible exhibit will feature over 130 works of art made from more than one million LEGO® pieces!
After leaving behind his successful career as a corporate lawyer in NYC, Nathan Sawaya has forged an extraordinary journey as a contemporary artist. Focusing entirely on LEGO® bricks, he masterfully reimagines everything from ordinary objects like pencils and umbrellas to legendary masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s David.
The Art of the Brick exhibition in D.C. will also include a special room dedicated to Sawaya’s animal sculptures, bringing awareness to endangered species. Perfect for all ages, the exhibit invites you to marvel at one-of-a-kind artwork – and even create your own LEGO® masterpieces from scratch.
Tickets to The Art of the Brick are now on sale! The jaw-dropping exhibit will officially open at the Rhode Island Center on January 30, 2025.
