The Art of the Brick, a mind-blowing new art exhibition in Northeast D.C., has already made quite a splash in the city. Artist Nathan Sawaya’s sculptural creations contain more than one million building bricks, with subject matters spanning from a massive T-Rex to Michelangelo’s David.
After traveling throughout Paris, London, Singapore, and beyond, the exhibition is officially open just steps from the Rhode Island Ave Metro station. And now, The Art of the Brick has invited local creatives and building enthusiasts to submit their own builds in an epic art competition.
