Where does Washington, D.C. rank among America’s most muscular cities?
According to the study, Washington, D.C. was ranked the #8 most-muscular city in the United States!
The study broke down several factors and used them to compare 50 of the most populous cities in the country, giving each city a score on a scale from 0 to 100, with 100 being the most ‘muscled-up’.
Washington, D.C.’s ‘Muscled-Up’ score was 69.66, which was high enough to rank 8th in the nation, but here were some other interesting findings from the study:
- On Average, Washingtonians spend $1,406 on protein per year, which ranked #10 out of all 50 cities in the study.
- 45% of Washingtonians strength train twice a week, which ranked #8 out of 50 cities.
- The study counted that Washington, D.C. has 170 dedicated strength training gyms, which ranked #35 out of the 50 cities studied.
