Black History Film Festival – Day One
The film festival is kicking off today, Friday, February 9th, at 5:30 pm at Lincoln Theatre with a short reception, but the core of the event is going to be a lineup of iconic films regarded for the cultural and social impact on black history. Black History Film Festival – Day Two
Day two of the Black History Film Festival is shifting locations to Alamo Cinema Drafthouse (630 Rhode Island Ave, NE), and festivities for the day are expected to start at 12:00 pm. Again, the events are focused primarily on showcasing a lineup of significant films that hold cultural importance in terms of their impact or role in black history in film, but the festival will of course also include speakers and discussions!
