The moment we’re talking about, in case you haven’t already seen it, was none other than the final moments of the Heated Rivalry lookalike contest that was hosted by @itslucyinluv at Wunder Garden DC this past weekend.
We’re talking about the viral kiss shared between the lookalike contest’s two winners, Aram Matagi, who won among the Shane lookalikes, and Felix Eller, who earned first place among Ilya lookalikes.
The viral kiss moment, which sealed the deal for these two as victors of the contest, and gave them each the respective first-place prizes, which included:
- Cabana at Wunder Garten for a group of 10, plus a round of drinks
- A pair of tickets to a Nationals game
- A pair of tickets to an upcoming concert at 9:30 Club or the Anthem
Though the virality didn’t end with the two convincing Ilya & Shane lookalikes kissing their way to victory, it continued with news that the two winners, Aram and Felix, actually went on a date shortly after!
The viral kiss saw sparks fly in front of a crowd, but after the crowd left, the two contest winners apparently went out for coffee, which turned into an eight-hour date.
While we naturally wish them both the best, Washingtonians are officially invested and want to see these two flourish.
