The Holiday Boat Parade & Party is returning to The Wharf this December! Featuring beautifully decorated boats and plenty of holiday fun, this annual D.C. tradition is not one to miss.
Taking place on Saturday, December 7, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the free event invites spectators to watch over 60 boats decked from bow to stern with holiday lights and festive decor as they set sail down the Washington Channel. As in previous years, NBC4’s Tommy McFly will act as the emcee, announcing the boats as they hit the channel at 7 p.m.
The decorated boats are just the tip of The Wharf’s festivities! Washingtonians can skate on The Wharf’s Ice Rink, enjoy live music by D.C. bands, pay a visit to Santa, and so much more. The Holiday Boat Parade also has plenty of seasonal food and drinks! Warm up with a hot toddy and other festive beverages at the Corona Cheer Garden, or indulge in s’mores roasting on a wood-burning fire.
The spectacular evening will wrap up with a fireworks finale at 8 p.m. With ample activities for all ages, The Wharf’s Holiday Boat Parade is always a can’t-miss experience.
