While the Washington, D.C., dating scene may be famously flawed, there are definitely moments around the District that come about twice a year that show how romantic Washingtonians can be!
It may be the scores of couples taking the time to admire the fleeting beauty of the cherry blossoms in the spring, or ever classic fall foliage treks that come at the start of cuffing season… Or it may be when Downtown DC puts on an event to try and break the Guinness World Record for most couples kissing under the mistletoe at once.
When will the Guinness World Record attempt take place?
The attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most couples kissing under the mistletoe at the same time will be on Saturday, December 13th!
The event will take place in the afternoon, with the following schedule:
- 3 pm – food, drinks, and live entertainment kicking off the celebration.
- 4 pm – preparations for the world record attempt begin.
- 5 pm – Officially attempt to break the Guinness World Record
