If you’re planning a family outing at Nationals Park this holiday season, there’s a way to cut the cost. Enchant D.C., the immersive holiday experience that runs November 20 through December 27, is releasing 2,500 complimentary youth tickets through a new initiative called Kids Light Up The Night.
How to get the free kids’ tickets
The offer covers five nights: November 20, and December 1, 2, 8 and 9. Buy at least one adult ticket for any of those dates and you can add up to two free youth tickets to the same order at EnchantChristmas.com. The tickets are available while supplies last, so with only 2,500 up for grabs, it’s worth booking early.
“For the first time in D.C., we’re excited to make thousands of tickets available to local kids,” said Michelle Sanders, Vice President of Marketing for Social House Entertainment, which produces Enchant.

New theme nights built with local partners
The free tickets are part of a wider push to bring D.C. groups into the event. This season, Enchant is working with local media partners, nonprofits, entertainers and community organizations, including the National Cherry Blossom Festival, Capital Pride Alliance, Brandywine Valley SPCA, D.C. Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance, the National Children’s Museum, The Washington Tattoo and Montgomery County Pride Center.
Four new theme nights come out of those collaborations:
HBCU Night (December 3): Wear your school colors and enjoy a Step & Band Showcase with local college talent.
Go-Go Night (December 4): Local Beat Ya Feet instructors will teach a few moves, with live go-go music playing all night.
Night of Honor (December 10): Presented by Navy Federal Credit Union, this evening is for active-duty military, veterans, first responders and their families.
Storybook Night (December 15): Live storybook readings will take place throughout the evening.
Returning favorites include Paws ‘n Claus, Friendsgiving and Family Photo Night Out. You can find the full list of theme nights and special events, along with ticket options, on the Enchant D.C. website. Tickets are on sale now.
