The 20th anniversary of one of D.C.’s biggest Pan-Asian celebrations is happening tomorrow in coordination with Passport DC happening all month. The month has been filled with different cultural festivities around D.C. like the Embassy Open House and the food festival happening later this month, but get ready for one more coming this Saturday called Fiesta Asia.
Since 2006, Fiesta Asia has been part of the Capital’s initiative to celebrate the richness of Asian culture. The street festival takes place every May in tandem with AAPI month and makes for a huge and exciting experience, complete with a street fair, film fest, and activities. Let’s take a look at what’s going on this Saturday at Fiesta Asia.
First off, the main event is free so check out their website to RSVP. There are a lot of exciting events happening:
