After drawing crowds at Burning Man and Art Basel Miami, a massive audiovisual ‘cloud’ equipped with a 200,000-watt, 360-degree sound system has landed in D.C. for a limited run. And it’s not just here to throw a party.
While best known for producing festival-grade electronic music, Fluffy Cloud is, at its core, a community gathering space. From sound baths to physically immersive light shows, the D.C. area can experience Fluffy Cloud’s artistic playground through Friday, April 24, at BERHTA.
The world’s first and only spherical sound and light experience
Created by Jorge Perdomo García-Granados as a gift for Burning Man 2019, Fluffy Cloud blends art, acoustic physics, and precision engineering to radically transform live entertainment. In fact, D.C. experienced the cloud for a legendary, one-night-only concert four years ago.
Now, the three-story installation is back in D.C. for the world debut of something entirely new. From families to wellness enthusiasts to late-night revelers, Fluffy Cloud’s residency at BERHTA has something for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Here’s what’s happening under the Cloud
The 15-Ton Sound Bath
Settle into the deepest state of relaxation your body has ever been in via Fluffy Cloud’s exclusive 15-Ton Sound Bath. The 45-minute multisensory immersion is precisely engineered using leading research from institutions like MIT and Harvard to deliver calibrated frequencies, lights, and scents to calm your nervous system. With NASA-derived zero-gravity recliners, relaxation elixirs, and absolutely no phones or talking, these 20-person sessions are bound to sell out.

Enter Cloudfall
Enter Cloudfall, an all-ages 360-degree cinematic journey of genre-blending sounds, mesmerizing lights, lasers, and other special effects, that took the Cloud’s creators years to develop. Lounge on floor cushions, meander through the space, or simply stand still as you let the intensely immersive show stimulate your senses in the best way possible. This is not a chill experience, so be ready for anything.
The Psychotic Jukebox Lounge
Equal parts chaotic and fun, The Psychotic Jukebox Lounge invites you to control the music during this never-before-organized 21+ night. Pick the songs and come ready for interactive games, challenges, unhinged surprises, and a much-needed full bar.
Fluffy Concerts: Only three nights to dance under the cloud
There are only three chances to party under the Cloud during its entire D.C. residency, and they’re all unmissable. From the residency opening celebration to the first-ever collaboration with The Ministry of Sound (a UK-based electronic music icon), to the final dance of the residency closing party, these events don’t just announce lineups — they announce genres.
