For one evening only, the National Mall will transform into an outdoor movie theater with views of the Washington Monument. Visitors are encouraged to don their best Forrest Gump-themed outfits and get ready for an epic screening of Forrest Gump.
The fun doesn’t stop there – visitors can even replicate the movie’s iconic bench scene, and step into an on-site Photo Booth.

Brought to you by Paramount+ and the National Park Foundation, Forrest Gump at the National Mall takes place near the cross streets of Jefferson Drive SW and 12th Street SW.
The experience will kick off at 5 pm on Saturday, September 14. The movie screening will start at sunset around 7:30 pm.
