It’s hard to believe it’s been 9 years since the first season of Stranger Things dropped, transporting us straight to the ‘80s and into Hawkins, Indiana. As we soon found out, the seemingly normal Midwestern town actually had a dark mystery hovering just beneath the surface. Now, the final season is about to arrive and based on what we know so far, it promises to be as epic as the past four seasons.
To celebrate the final season, cities all around the country are taking part in one last bike ride, which is only fitting considering there is no shortage of bike rides that take place in the series – we just hope that you encounter fewer Demogorgons than the gang! But that’s not all, if you take part in the bike ride one lucky participant will also have a chance to win an exclusive Stranger Things-branded bike.

What to expect on the bike rides?
On November 23, cities all across the U.S. will take part in a global send-off to the beloved series. Grab your bike and head out on a self-guided bike ride through iconic parts of your city, to reminisce about the series and speculate ahead of the final season. For your chance to take home an exclusive Stranger Things-branded bike, all you need to do is register!
Come back soon to find out how you can get involved in the bike rides.

Of course, it’s been a little while since season 4 debuted – so you’re not alone if you need a bit of a refresher on the series.
How did Stranger Things 4 end?
In Season 4, our heroes met their biggest challenge yet in the form of Vecna, a psychic force who is revealed to have a direct connection to the Upside Down and the events unfolding in Hawkins. Through a series of epic battles and fights, the season culminates with a massive rift tearing the town of Hawkins apart and the upside down bleeding into the town.
We certainly have a lot of questions about what will face the town next. When we last saw the gang, Joyce and Murray had just returned to Hawkins with Hopper, while Max was still in a coma and Eddie had sadly lost his battle in the Upside Down. The season ends with Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Steve, Jonathan, Nancy and Robin realizing that the battle is definitely not over yet. It seems the biggest fight yet is on the horizon, and we will be following closely!

What do we know about Stranger Things 5?
The final season debuts on November 26 on Netflix with the first four episodes. Another three episodes will drop on Christmas Day, with the epic finale being released on New Year’s Eve. In the final season our team of heroes are united by a goal to find and kill Vecna, ending the horrors of the Upside Down once and for all. All we can say for now is that we will absolutely be tuning in on November 26…

Where can I join in on the self-guided bike rides to celebrate Stranger Things?
In DC, the ride will take place on the National Mall Loop, a trail around the Tidal Basin and down to Hains Point. You’ll pass looming monuments on your way and the winter fog should be just about setting in, creating a perfectly eerie backdrop to complete the ride.
