After presenting the luminous Van Gogh Experience, Exhibition Hub and Fever are premiering D.C.’s first ever Monet: The Immersive Experience. Set to bring the work of the impressionist to life, the artistic journey transports you to Monet’s soothing Giverny gardens through a blend of the latest technology.
Some of Claude Monet’s most famous paintings take on new shapes. From Impression, Sunrise (1827) and Woman with a Parasol (1875) to the incredible Water Lilies series, every brushstroke and detail of Monet’s oeuvre dances across the floors and ceilings of Rhode Island Center.
Get tickets for Monet: The Immersive Experience, and be the first to experience the spectacle.
As you step through the doors of Monet: The Immersive Experience, what awaits is nothing short of fantastic: Monet’s incredible work takes on the shape of staged art installs, a walk-through segment, interactive activities and of course — a 360-degree projection room. Using multisensory elements like sight and sound, this brand new Monet Experience takes us on a journey through Claude Monet’s gardens of Giverny in Normandy, France.
It’s the perfect experience for this time of year, since you’ll find warmth in Monet’s sunny landscapes and red poppies. Blooming flowers, wild ferns, incredible still life… Monet’s universe brings a spark of creativity that we’ll gladly take in this winter.
The Monet Experience has previously stopped in major cities like London, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Currently, it’s in Cincinnati, Albany and soon, it’s landing in our very own Washington D.C. The experience acquired rave reviews in all cities, with some visitors calling the experience wonderful and spectacular.
The beloved experience will be coming to the capital on February 16, plunging us inside of Monet’s life and work.
