Well, in case you didn’t know, the Commanders’ offseason has been eventful these past few months.
They’ve made changes to their coaching staff, changes to their roster, and even some changes to their stadium.
Where do the Washington Commanders play?
The Commanders played at FedEx Field in Landover, MD from 1999 until 2023, but this past offseason FedEx ended its naming rights agreement with the Commanders, which meant that the stadium now has a new name.
From the 2024 season onward the new stadium name for the home of the Washington Commanders is now NorthWest Stadium, after a new naming rights agreement was formed between our local NFL team and Northwest Federal Credit Union.
When does the NFL season start?
The NFL’s week 1 season starts on Friday, September 6th, with the Commanders’ first game being on Sunday, September 8th, at 4:25 pm against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being played in Tampa Bay.
The first home game of the season for the Commanders will be Sunday, September 15th, at 3 pm against the New York Giants.

Well, according to Sports Illustrated, they’ve predicted the Commanders to finish the 2024 season with 7 wins and 10 losses, which is an improvement from the 4 wins and 13 losses last year, but still not good enough to assume the Commanders will make it to the playoffs this year.

The Washington Commanders won two NFL championships (pre-Super Bowl era) in 1937 and 1942, and they have won three Super Bowls, in 1983, 1988, and most recently in 1992.
