The Jazz Room: Marvin Gaye in a Night of Soul
A live band moves through a soulful, Motown-shaped setlist with warmth, groove, and easy swing, tracing the romantic sweep and social pulse that define Marvin Gaye’s sound. The room catches that familiar glow as songs such as What’s Going On, Sexual Healing, or Let’s Get It On drift in and out of a performance built to feel fluid rather than fixed, with each arrangement leaving space for the musicians to stretch, soften, and lock back into rhythm.

The Jazz Room leans into the easy polish of Sinatra and the bright, brass-led warmth of Armstrong, shaping a live setlist that moves between suave vocal swing and loose, expressive jazz phrasing. Standards such as Fly Me to the Moon, What a Wonderful World, or I’ve Got You Under My Skin may surface as familiar touchstones, carried by live instrumentation that keeps the mood refined but never rigid. The result is structured yet flexible, with each performance finding its own rhythm.
