Light hits first, then the beat lands, and suddenly Neon Moves by THE BLACKOUTS turns a regular night in Washington, D.C. into something extraordinary. Across 60 minutes, seven dancers use illuminated costumes, precise choreography and a Y2K hits setlist to build a performance that blends spectacle, nostalgia and story.

What is Neon Moves?
Neon Moves is a dance show built on color, rhythm and emotion. Professional dancers lead you through a dystopic world shaped by digitalisation and artificial control, which gradually moves towards a stronger sense of humanity. This transformation is expressed through precise choreography and atmospheric lighting, making the visual language part of the story itself. With songs such as “Toxic” and “Yeah!”, the experience brings instant 2000s recognition, while tracks including “Crazy in Love” and “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” add more release as the performance develops.
Who are THE BLACKOUTS?
THE BLACKOUTS are an internationally recognised dance collective known for combining choreography with advanced LED costume technology. Their journey began in Switzerland before appearances on Switzerland’s Got Talent, Das Supertalent and Britain’s Got Talent brought their work to wider audiences.
Their performances use around 1,800 individually controllable LEDs, synchronised down to the millisecond. That precision lets the group create illusions that depend on exact timing. Dancers can emerge from darkness, vanish between beats, or reshape the stage through rapidly changing formations and patterns of light, making this light play part of the choreography.
