The sounds of blues, soul, and funk will once again fill Arlington this weekend as the 29th Annual Columbia Pike Blues Festival returns for a full day of live music and community celebration.
Presented by the Columbia Pike Partnership in collaboration with Arlington Arts, the annual event has become one of Northern Virginia’s most anticipated summer traditions, drawing thousands of visitors to Columbia Pike each year.
This year’s festival features a new location, a lineup of nationally recognized performers, dozens of local vendors, and plenty of activities for families looking for a free weekend outing.

When and where is the Columbia Pike Blues Festival happening?
The 29th Annual Columbia Pike Blues Festival takes place on Saturday, June 13, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Penrose Square, located at 2597 Columbia Pike in Arlington.
This marks the festival’s first year at its new venue after relocating from previous locations along Columbia Pike.
Festival organizers say attendees can expect the same vibrant atmosphere that has made the event a local favorite despite the move to a new setting.
The day-long celebration will feature performances from local and nationally recognized artists, including headliner Joslyn & The Sweet Compression, a Kentucky-based funk and soul band currently touring nationally.
The musical lineup also includes The Curbfeelers, Guy Bouchie & Bobby Thompson, Stacy Brooks, and rising blues-rock performer Amani Burnham.
