Bookworms, get ready to welcome Barnes & Noble back to Georgetown this November!
Washingtonians received upsetting news at the start of 2012 when it was revealed that Barnes & Noble quietly closed its M Street location on New Year’s Eve.
Now over a decade later, the store will officially return to its previous location at 3040 M Street NW this August.
In such a digital era, it is refreshing to see a demand for physical storefronts – and books! Along with its extensive book offerings, the three-story Barnes & Noble will be home to a signature Barnes & Noble Café, toys and games, and a wide variety of vinyl records.
Reportedly, the Georgetown Barnes & Noble is one of 50 locations expected to open this year.
The 49,000-square-foot Georgetown Barnes & Noble already has several upcoming author events lined up, beginning in early November:
