At Getaway’s outpost in Shenandoah, VA there are 25 two-person cabins and 9 four-person cabins (with bunk beds) spread out over 20-acres of beautiful forest. They’re perfect for social distancing without being completely isolated in the wild.
Getaway’s tiny luxury cabins aren’t just like other cabins–They’re straight out of any millennial’s dreams! They fully embrace the minimalistic lifestyle and all cabins feature floor-to-ceiling windows so you can wake up in the wilderness all cabins feature floor-to-ceiling windows so you can wake up in the wilderness. They include comfy queen beds, a mini kitchen with a stove, a bathroom with a hot shower, a campfire grill grate, picnic furniture, and organic, biodegradable amenities.
The cabins also come with a lockbox to put your phone away and relax, and pots, pans and other provisions up for purchase if you don’t feel like bringing your own. Oh, and there’s no need for a dog sitter because furry friends are also invited!
If you feel like exploring Getaway’s Virginia outpost offers plenty of activities for venturing out of the campsite, including a scenic hike up Hightop Mountain trail. On extra warm days, you can also go swimming at Blue Hole on Moorman’s Trail.
