With Usher’s new album coming this Friday and his upcoming show as the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl, Usher has been getting a lot of media, but now that Usher’s announced a new North American tour it all makes sense! Usher’s new “Past Present Future” tour will kick off late this summer and feature a total of 24 shows across 17 different cities in the U.S. and Canada.
Everything you need to know about Usher’s “Past Present Future” tour
First and foremost, for us Washingtonians, it’s great to know that Usher decided to kick off the tour in our amazing city. On August 20th, Usher is going to take the stage at Capital One Arena in Downtown D.C. to set the tone for the remainder of his tour.
The best part about being the first stop is that he won’t be exhausted or have lost his voice from shows earlier in the week, which means that D.C. may get the best Usher performance of the entire tour!
How and when do I get tickets?
Pre-sale tickets for Usher’s stop in D.C. are going to be live on Wednesday, February 7th, at 10 am! This means that you can already get your hands on them today, but general admission tickets for his tour won’t go on sale until February 12th and 10 am!
What will Usher’s tour include?
You can safely assume Usher will focus on his recent discography, promoting and performing songs from his ninth album “Coming Home” which comes out on Friday, February 9th! While the new album, which is expected to be the focus of his Super Bowl halftime show, will certainly get attention, it’s also fair to assume Usher will perform some of his classic hits. So you can rest assured that you’ll hear a few of your favorite Usher songs if you decide to go!
