What’s better than an outdoor movie? One that is FREE!
Just outside of D.C. at Maryland’s National Harbor, the Movies on the Potomac summer series has commenced. Twice a week, you can head over with blankets and chairs, snag snacks from one of the nearby establishments, and enjoy a film right off the water.
Fun for all ages, every 6 p.m. on Sunday features a family-friendly film, while couples and adults can come for Thursday’s 7 p.m. date night showings.
Even better — each month has an overall theme! If you love animal movies, then May is the perfect month for you, featuring films such as “101 Dalmatians,” “Jaws,” and “The Secret Life of Pets.”
Movies on the Potomac runs now through September, and with a number of themes and films ranging from live-action to animation, there’s bound to be something for everyone to enjoy!
