The Savannah Bananas are bringing one of their biggest events ever to Washington, D.C., this fall.
The team has announced that the first-ever Banana Bowl championship will take place at Nationals Park on October 10th, 2026.
The event promises to be much more than a traditional baseball game, with all six Banana Ball teams and casts coming together for a night of sports, entertainment, special guests, and surprises.

Rather than being a standard Savannah Bananas game, the Banana Bowl is being billed as a massive celebration bringing together all six Banana Ball teams and their casts.
The organization says the event will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and will be streamed live on Disney+ and Disney YouTube.
The Bananas are promising plenty of the entertainment that has helped make Banana Ball such a phenomenon, including “on-field showmanship, special guests, surprise appearances, unique entrances, and a first-of-its-kind arrival experience for fans“.
The night will also conclude with the Final Inning Show, described by the organization as the largest musical performance in Banana Ball history, featuring the full cast and original Banana Ball music.
