Nearly a year ago, plans were announced by Six Flags America that they planned to launch the regions tallest ‘Master Blaster’ water coaster at Hurricane Harbor Maryland!
The announcement also highlighted that the new addition is Six Flags America’s largest capital investment in a decade and described the water coaster as the new main attraction to Six Flags America’s water park, Hurricane Harbor Maryland.
Everything you need to know about Six Flags America’s RipQurl Blaster
The new ride, which is set to open to the public this summer is going to be called “RipQurl Blaster”, and has been referred to as an innovative new water coaster that will take passengers on a raft through power currents while zig-zagging through over 500 feet of twists and turns!
In addition the incredible length of the ride, it also contains three unique “breathtaking” drops, a total of three “AquaLucent” (visually stunning) hairpin turns, and a dark “helix finale” before the ride concludes with one final immense “splashdown”!
“We are excited to debut RipQurl Blaster, which will be both a thrilling and refreshing experience for guests visiting this summer,” said General Manager Ramar Vaughan. “This is just one of many investments we’re making to be the DMV’s most convenient and enjoyable out-of-home experience for the whole family.
How to visit Six Flags America’s RipQurl Blaster
To get into the Six Flags America there are several options to get you into the park to try out the new biggest water coaster in the region, which is just a 35-minute drive away from D.C.!
- Daily Ticket w/ Water Park Add-On – $35 per person for the base ticket + Hurricane Harbor Maryland add-on fee (price not confirmed) – Includes one day access to all rides in both Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor Maryland.
- 2024 Platinum Pass: $89 per person – includes unlimited access to Six Flags America AND Hurricane Harbor Maryland, is valid through 2024, 15% food & merchandise discounts, and general parking.
- 2024 Diamond Pass: $175per person – includes unlimited access to ALL Six Flags theme parks & outdoor water parks, including Six Flags Great Adventure & Hurricane Harbor New Jersey, is valid through 2024, 20% food & merchandise discounts, and preferred parking (depending on park location & availability).
