Washingtonians can check out the interactive ‘Snow Tracker’ tool, which displays live updates on the locations of the D.C. Snow Team’s active plows, as well as a color-coded map that shows which roads have been plowed most recently.
If you do come across an unplowed road or a street that needs to be cleared again, Washingtonians can call 311 to report the issue.
Once reported, depending on city-wide road conditions, and if there are any active snow plows in the area, one of the D.C. Snow Team’s plows could be there to clear the roads within a matter of minutes or a few hours.

In Virginia, the Department of Transportation also has an interactive online tool that lets you monitor the state’s ‘live trucks’ to see where they are currently plowing.
For information about real-time road conditions, if you have concerns before you leave the house, you can call 511 Virginia.
However, if you want to report an issue regarding snow removal, you can call VDOT at 800-367-7623.

Snow removal in Maryland is monitored by local county governments, which means that each Maryland county in the DMV area has different tools and protocols.
Montgomery County
You can check the status of the snow removal at local addresses on the county’s Winter Storm Informational Portal. Just plug your address into the system for an updated status on the plowing progress of your street.
On the same platform, you can even create a service request to report if a street needs to be cleared of snow.
Prince George’s County
The county’s official website contains all the information residents will typically need when looking into local snow removal services, but in case you do have concerns about snow removal, residents are requested to wait at least 24 hours from the time the snow stops before calling either 311 or 301-883-4748.
Anne Arundel County
Residents of Anne Arundel County can usually monitor the snow removal progress on an interactive online tool that tracks the county’s snow plows in real time.
For requests of service, such as reporting an unplowed road or dangerous driving conditions, residents should call 311.
