Hello Kitty fans around the Washington, D.C. area will have a chance to shop some exclusive merchandise this weekend as the iconic Hello Kitty Cafe Truck rolls back into Arlington.
The bright pink pop-up is making a one-day stop at Westpost at National Landing, bringing a fresh lineup of limited-edition collectibles alongside fan-favorite desserts that can’t typically be purchased in stores.
This year’s tour features several new merchandise designs, including mugs, tote bags, blankets, sweatshirts and T-shirts, making it one of the biggest merchandise refreshes the traveling cafe has offered in recent years.
Whether you’re a longtime Sanrio collector or simply looking for a fun weekend outing, it’s expected to be one of the most colorful stops happening in Northern Virginia this Saturday.
Here’s when and where the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be in Arlington
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will stop at Westpost at National Landing on Saturday, August 8th, from 10 am until 7 pm.
The truck will be parked in the courtyard near DSW at 1101 S. Joyce Street in Arlington.
The Arlington stop is the first of three Washington-area appearances during the truck’s 2026 tour, with additional visits scheduled for Bethesda and Annapolis later this month.
The traveling pop-up has become an annual tradition for many Hello Kitty fans.
Since launching in 2014, the fleet has traveled across the country bringing exclusive merchandise directly to fans, with the trucks serving as one of the only ways to purchase many of these collectibles in person outside of the brand’s California cafe locations.
Because the event lasts for just one day, visitors are encouraged to arrive early if they’re hoping to grab some of the most popular merchandise before it sells out.

What you can buy at the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck
One of the biggest draws of the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is its collection of limited-edition merchandise that is exclusive to the tour.
This year’s lineup introduces several brand-new items, including:
- NEW Hello Kitty Cafe mugs
- NEW tote bags
- NEW blankets
- NEW zip-up sweatshirts
- NEW T-shirts
- Hello Kitty Cafe plush toys
- Keychains
- Thermal bottles
In addition to the collectibles, visitors can also purchase several signature sweet treats, including giant cookies, cookie sets, 5-piece macaron sets, and madeleines.
Many of these products are only available while the truck is on tour, making each stop especially popular with collectors who travel from across the region to shop the newest releases.
With an all-pink truck, exclusive merchandise and Instagram-worthy desserts, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has become one of the most anticipated pop-up events for Sanrio fans each summer—and this weekend’s Arlington stop is expected to draw plenty of visitors looking to pick up this year’s newest collectibles.
