Visited by over 40 million people every year, Union Station is a thriving transportation hub. Now, Washingtonians will have a unique chance to find stillness within the station. On Saturday, June 21, Union Station’s East Hall will transform into a free pop-up yoga event from 10 am to 12 pm.
The zen community event will coincide with International Yoga Day, promoting unity, mindfulness, and holistic health through movement and breathwork.
Enjoy a free yoga class inside a historic D.C. landmark
International Yoga Day at Union Station is led by Radiance Basden of Rooted in Radiance. Participants of all levels are invited to enjoy a calming and energizing yoga flow beneath the grand arches of one of D.C.’s most iconic spaces.
Space is limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring a yoga mat. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, this unique yoga event provides a rare chance to find calm within the chaos of the city.
If you’d like to attend the free event, you can reserve your spot in advance. Keep in mind that you will not be permitted to enter after 10:20 am. Attendees can stay hydrated with complimentary water bottles from Smart Water.
