Barracks Row Main Street’s Mardi Gras
The first Mardi Gras celebration of the year, the Barracks Row Mardi Gras, will be packed with fun activities along 8th Street, along with opportunities to explore special deals at local stores and restaurants.
Tickets are free, but you can register to attend the events on the Barracks Row website.
2nd Annual Mardi Gras on H Street
The festivities planned on H Street NE this year for Mardi Gras will include marching bands, drumlines with live music, dancing, theater, and kid-friendly activities all afternoon and evening.
The neighborhood-wide celebration will feature performances and activities across multiple stages and venues along H Street NE.
Head to Mardi Gras at The Wharf
Celebrate Mardi Gras at The Wharf this year with a massive parade, live music, and lots of beads to earn with your dance moves throughout the afternoon!
The event will start with a parade kicking off around 3:30 pm and culminate in a firework display at around 6:30 pm to commemorate the holiday and mark the end of the festivities!
Celebrate Mardi Gras at Dauphine’s in Downtown D.C.
One of the District’s most authentic New Orleans-style restaurants, Dauphine’s, is hosting a ticketed Mardi Gras experience this year, making this the can’t-miss event if you want to experience an authentic New Orleans experience right here in the District.
