Downtown DC BID will be hosting a brand new holiday-themed event starting this Saturday called Mistletoe Mingle. The event, created for adults only, will have workshops, a National Mistletoe art installation, live entertainment, fine wine, and a market that showcases goods from small businesses called their “Marketini.”
The National Mistletoe will be the centerpiece of the holiday decor and stands at 10-feet tall. The interactive art installation created by My Ly, hangs from above, giving guests the opportunity for cute photo opps underneath.
Some of the exciting features you can take part in over the 2 day festival are s’mores by the fire, the Marketini which will feature goods from 3 of DC’s local small businesses, and free sweets, like their cupcakes.
There are also plenty of restaurants to grab some food or a drink in the BIC where you can sit and enjoy dinner and drinks on the patio.
While the event itself is free, there will be multiple workshops you can participate in for a fee.
