This year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade will be the exclamation point of what is expected to be one of the most beautiful cherry blossom seasons in recent D.C. history due to the unseasonably warm and wet winter we’ve experienced the past few months. The parade itself is already being touted as one of the best they’ve planned in years with a banquet of special guests already arranged, including live performances by the Sugar Hill Gang and American Idol Finalist, Colin Stough.
How do you get tickets to the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade?
To attend the parade you will need to purchase a ticket via the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s official website. While the tickets can be purchased as an individual or as a group, there are different seating options that each have different price points:
- Telecast (East End) Seating – $45.20 (including additional service fee)
Between 7th and 9th Streets NW along Constitution Ave, NW by the National Archives - Grandstand (West End) – Performance Zone Seating – $33.90 (including additional service fee)Located between 16th and 17th Streets NW along Constitution Ave, NW by the Washington Monument
- Grandstand (West End) – Seating – $28.25 (including additional service fee)

To attend, you must have your ticket printed, there will be no digital tickets recognized, and failing to bring a printed version of your ticket could result in you being turned away at the event.
Every year, people from all over the world flock to D.C. From late March through mid-April to see the cherry blossoms bloom around the capital city.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival takes place from March 20th through April 14th, highlighting the natural and cultural phenomenon with a long list of things to do during cherry blossom season, such as the Blossom Kite Festival, live music and art at Petalpalooza, and, of course, the Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run.
