This Saturday, the roads will be lined with tanks and armored military vehicles for the Army’s 250th Birthday Parade. According to CBS News, the parade is expected to have over 6,600 soldiers, 150 vehicles, and 50 aircraft present. The parade will be held specifically on June 14th because it was 250 years ago on June 14, 1775 that the Continental Army, meant to defend the Thirteen Colonies, was established by Congress, but this is the first time since 1991 that the Army has celebrated in D.C.
