The holiday season has arrived in the District and with it so have a few holly jolly pop-ups, like Miracle at Death Punch and its tiki-themed sister soon arriving in Cardozo! Sippin’ Santa will be docking at Archipelago this season and it’s bringing back all your favorite cocktails.

Archipelago will be donning its holiday best and decking out its halls — or should we say bars — in awesome, over-the-top festive décor to ring in the holidays. It will also feature all of Sippin’ Santa’s sensational cocktails, perfect for helping you get into the holiday spirits!

Options include: Kaloka Colada with Dark Jamaican rum, gold Puerto Rican rum, lime and orange juices, orange Curaçao and pumpkin-spiced coconut; the Sippin’ Santa (of course) with Aged Demerara rum, Amoro, nutmeg syrup, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and orange juice; the Brah Humbug served hot and featuring Scotch, Drambuie and mulled wine syrup; and the Runaway Sleigh with London dry gin, cranberry-sage syrup and lime juice among other tiki-licious options!

They will also be serving Rum, Rum, Rudolph shots out of cute Santa shot glasses and if you’re going with a friend, make sure to try their communal Blitzen Bowl, this drink meant for two features Jamaica and Demerara rums, Allspice Dram, apricot brandy, Tuaca, ginger syrup, lime juice, angostura bitters and almond bitters all served in a fun Santa hot tub bowl!

To ensure everything goes swimmingly and safe, Sippin’ Santa will be offering outdoor service only this year. If you can’t make it to the Cardozo-based bar this year, don’t worry! They’ll also be rolling out special take-home holiday kits so you can enjoy a Tiki Christmas right at home.
