Sneakerheads, collectors, and streetwear fans have a major event to look forward to this weekend as Sneaker Con returns to Washington, D.C. for two days dedicated to sneaker culture.
Dubbed “The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth,” the event transforms the Walter E. Washington Convention Center into a massive marketplace featuring more than 100,000 sneakers and collectibles from over 200 vendors across the country.
Whether you’re searching for a grail-worthy pair of Jordans, hoping to sell part of your collection, or simply want to experience one of the biggest sneaker events in the country, there’s plenty happening throughout the weekend.
Here’s everything you need to know before heading to Sneaker Con Washington, D.C.
When and where is Sneaker Con Washington, D.C. taking place?
Sneaker Con will take place Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in downtown Washington, D.C. Doors are scheduled to be open from 12 pm until 7 pm each day.

What to expect at Sneaker Con this weekend
If you’ve never attended Sneaker Con before, expect far more than rows of sneakers. The event functions as a giant live marketplace where attendees can buy, sell, and trade footwear directly with vendors and fellow collectors.
Organizers say more than 100,000 sneakers, collectibles, and streetwear items will be available from 200+ vendors, ranging from everyday releases to rare Jordans, Travis Scott collaborations, Nike SBs, vintage apparel, and other sought-after collectibles.
Visitors can also take advantage of free sneaker authentication, browse Streetwear Alley, watch stage games, enter giveaways, shop exclusive merchandise, meet special guests, and visit the event’s famous Trading Pit. Those looking to sell can bring their sneakers to the Cash Out Crew, which makes on-the-spot offers throughout the weekend.

How much does it cost to attend? And how do you get tickets?
General admission tickets start at $29.01, while other ticket options are available depending on the day and package you choose.
Organizers note that all sales are final, with no refunds offered.
Tickets are available online through Sneaker Con’s official event page.
Purchasing in advance is recommended since the event is expected to draw large crowds over the weekend.
If you’re planning to buy, sell, or trade sneakers, it’s also worth bringing any pairs you’d like to move, as direct transactions between collectors are one of the biggest draws of the event.
