Whether you’re on the hunt for a big meal or love trying a little bit of everything on the menu, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of an all-you-can-eat dining adventure. A new face on H Street, Sushi Sato is shaking up D.C.’s sushi game with its endless innovative offerings of izakaya favorites.
Launched by esteemed chef and restaurateur Tim Ma, owner of Lucky Danger and Any Day Now, Sushi Sato is Ma’s “take on Japanese bar food with fun sushi options.” The restaurant’s all-you-can-eat menu begins at $55 and features raw bar offerings, noodle dishes, skewered meats, and more.
Patrons can elevate their dining experience with the $75 premium package, which includes an even wider range of dishes, or add on all-you-can-drink beer for just $19!

Sushi Sato is home to a full sushi bar display, which seats six, and a five-seat cocktail bar. Many of the restaurant’s specialty rolls reimagine classic creations with American flair, such as the In-n-Out, which features shabu steak, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, caramelized onion, and Thousand Island dressing.
The menu spans beyond sushi with hearty rice bowls, a creative tako taco made with spicy octopus and a crispy seaweed “taco” shell, a Japanese steak sandwich with thick crustless toast, and more. Sushi Sato also offers a range of specialty cocktails, sake, beer, and wine.

Simon Atapan, who has over 15 years of experience in restaurant operations, is Tim Ma’s managing partner for this exciting new endeavor.
Visitors can find Sushi Sato at 1245 H St NE. An à la carte menu is also available for those seeking an alternative to the all-you-can-eat experience.
