Nostalgia of Warped Tour Through the Years
Here are some iconic Warped Tour facts you may not have known.
1996: Warped Tour, usually an outdoor event, had to be held inside the Capitol Ballroom because of venue issues back in 1996. It was the first year with Vans as a sponsor.
1996: The Vans Warped Tour went international.
1999: The tour went towards Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand.
2009: The tour won the Best Festival/Tour Award at the Rock on Request Awards.

What’s the venue?
Warped Tour D.C. is going to be held at the Festival Grounds at the RFK Campus, located 2 miles east of the Capitol Building near the Anacostia River. The campus is 190-acres, making it a huge space for the festival that has multiple stages.
Where to stay
We could recommend checking out the Metro Map and seeing nearby metro stops, like Eastern Market and Potomac Ave. and finding hotels near there. On the official website, Warped Tour suggests some of their partnered hotels here, but Capitol Hill is a great neighborhood that you can look into for hotels, and we’d suggest booking fast.
How to get there
If you take the metro, which the venue is highly recommending you do, you can take the blue or orange line to the ‘Stadium-Armory’ stop, then it’s just a quick 8 minute walk from there. If you’re driving, the venue is off of I-295.
Where to park
Parking at RFK Campus is limited and will likely sell out fast, but if you’re trying to park, the lot opens at 8am and no overnight parking is allowed! Limited single-day parking tickets will be available until sold out.
