We trust our friends over at Secret NYC, so when they told us that 7th Street Burger serves up one of the best smash burgers in the Big Apple, and we definitely trust Bad Bunny when he said they were his favorite!
So, saying we were excited to try them would be an understatement! Fortunately, for Washingtonians, we got our first 7th Street Burger in Georgetown back in June of 2024, and we can definitely confirm that these burgers are the real deal.
Now, after over a year of satisfying hungry Washingtonians at their Georgetown location, 7th Street Burger is opening a second location right here in the District!
And the best part? If you’re one of the first 100 people to show up to the official opening this weekend, you’ll get one of their iconic burgers on the house!
Where is the new 7th Street Burger in D.C. going to be located?
The new location is going to be in the Dupont Circle area, located at 1850 M Street NW.
This will be the second location for the popular burger chain in the District, with this location being much more accessible compared to navigating to their Georgetown storefront, given the lack of metro routes in that area.
The new Dupont Circle space will feature the same iconic menu with its famously reasonable prices (including the viral Spicy Jalapeño Smashed Cheeseburger and Loaded Beef Fries) and some indoor seating for fast-casual dining.

When is the opening and giveaway going to take place?
While the burger joint has been undergoing its soft launch over the past week, the official opening is going to take place this weekend, on Sunday, December 7th!
On the 7th Street Burgers website, it lists the opening as 11 am, but the giveaway will start at noon on a first-come, first-served basis!
There will be 100 free burgers for the first 100 guests, and some free merch will be handed out as well.
