As Election Day itself passes us by, as of now D.C. will still be impacted by road closures and traffic changes through Sunday.
After Donald Trump was declared the winner of the Presidential Election in the early hours of this morning (11/6), Harris’s team announced around midday that she would be delivering a concession speech at Howard University this afternoon.
This follows the candidate’s Election Night Watch Party that took place on campus yesterday evening, though Harris did not make any speeches then.
Due to the events throughout the week, additional security measures were announced on Sunday, including a long list of road closures that will continue to impact DC’s traffic.
