Washingtonians looking for a traditional Christmas market experience are in luck: D.C.’s Downtown Holiday Market has been named one of the best in the country!
Of the top 10 U.S. holiday markets, the Downtown Holiday Market in D.C. came in sixth by U.S.A. Today.
“DC’s Downtown Holiday Market celebrates the season with more than 150 regional vendors setting up shop in the nation’s capital,” U.S.A. Today wrote, “selling a variety of hand-crafted and boutique wares, while bands and singers representing a wide swathe of musical styles entertain.”
Its ranking was determined after “a panel of experts” and a number of U.S.A. Today’s 10Best editors chose the initial nominees, and then readers were able to vote for their favorites.
