A DMV summer favorite, Movies on the Potomac, will be ending Thursday, Sept. 29.
Just outside of D.C. at Maryland’s National Harbor, the Movies on the Potomac summer series held showings twice a week, allowing patrons to convene with blankets and chairs, snag snacks from one of the nearby establishments, and enjoy a film right off the water.
Fun for all ages, every 6 p.m. on Sunday featured a family-friendly film, while couples and adults could come for Thursday’s 7 p.m. date night showings.
Thursday’s final showing will also end September’s “America-Themed Movies” with a 7 p.m. showing of “Minari.”
The outdoor movie series will commence again at the beginning of summer 2023.
