When it comes to the world of slime and a world-class interactive experience fit for all ages, it doesn’t get any better than the Sloomoo Institute, a massive slime experience destination with several locations around the nation!
The #1 slime experience in the world, according to Sloomoo’s website, is reportedly heading to the D.C. area, as per a recent report by the Washington Business Journal .
What do we know about the new slime museum at Tysons Corner?
The slime museum, allegedly heading to Tysons Corner, would be the newest location for the biggest interactive slime experience business in the industry, Sloomoo Institute.
The new experience would be taking over the former Paul Mitchell beauty school in Tysons Corner, as well as at least one additional unit, totalling over 17,500 square feet of space across two levels.
At this time, no detailed plans about the new location’s layout have been shared, so while we cannot confirm what the Tysons Corner location might feature, we can venture a guess based on some of the exciting attractions found at other Sloomoo Institute locations around the country:
- Slime Gallery
- DIY Slime Bar
- Lake Sloomoo – where you can walk across hundreds of gallons of slime
- Slime waterfall

When is it going to open?
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation by Sloomoo Institute on their website about this new location just yet.
In fact, according to the Washington Business Journal, the official lease for the space still hasn’t even been signed.
Which means that there is still no timeline for the renovations that need to be made to bring the slime experience to life, and certainly no estimate as to when it will be open for business.
