Joining more than 30 design showrooms and stores in the Georgetown Design District, Molteni&C has made its debut in D.C.. The Italian designer furniture company is an exciting new face in the stretch of design stores across M Street, taking up residence just steps away from the main entrance to Cady’s Alley.
Situated on the west side of Georgetown, Cady’s Alley is home to some of D.C.’s most distinct high-end design brands. Molteni&C joins other noteworthy designers such as B&B Italia and Design Within Reach.
With over 20 home furnishing showrooms nestled amongst charming cobblestones, the pedestrian-friendly retail area brings a European feel to Georgetown.
Molteni&C’s D.C. location is the sixth flagship store directly operated by the family-owned company, following New York, Miami, London, Paris, and Doha.
Boasting over 7,000 square feet of space, Molteni&C’s welcoming, experiential layout will make you feel like you’ve stepped straight into a thoughtfully designed home. The multi-level space features a wide selection of the brand’s iconic home and kitchen products, along with a brand-new outdoor collection.
With the recent closings of Outdoor Voices on M Street and Mono by All About Burger on Wisconsin Ave, it’s refreshing to watch new businesses simultaneously pop up in the area.
Along with Molteni&C’s new flagship store, Reverie, a Michelin-starred neighborhood gem is set to reopen in Georgetown this spring. Ice Cream Jubilee also opened a new location on M Street, taking over the old Sweetgreen building.
