1 hour and 24 minutes is soon all it will take to get from D.C. to NYC. This speedy seaplane will depart Washington D.C. from Dulles and land adjacent to Midtown Manhattan, making it the fastest route for Washingtonians to get to New York.
The inaugural flights from NY-based seaplane company, Tailwind Air, take off beginning Wednesday, September 6. Washington will be a new addition to one of the many connections for New Yorkers who can currently board Tailwind Air flights from Manhattan to Boston, Nantucket, Cape Cod, Shelter Island, Plymouth, Bridgeport, and the Hamptons.
Manhattan will be the only connection for Washingtonians.
