After taking New York by storm, Tipsy Scoop is now expanding to Washington, D.C.! The boozy ice cream empire will officially open on Saturday, March 2nd in Penn Quarter.
Located at 675 I Street NW, the brand new venue, coined an ice cream “barlour,” will kick things off with a grand opening party at 2:00 pm on March 2nd. The first 25 customers will enjoy Tipsy Scoop’s liquor-infused ice cream scoops for just $1! There will be giveaways and prizes throughout the afternoon as well.
To celebrate their arrival in the capital, Tipsy Scoop has created a new liquor-infused ice cream flavor exclusive to D.C.. Carefully crafted using Hatozaki Finest Japanese Whisky, the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned Ice Cream will be here just in time for cherry blossom season!
Additional signature Tipsy Scoop flavors will be available on-site, such as Mango Margarita Sorbet and Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel.
Looking for something drinkable? The barlour offers a variety of signature cocktails, including the D.C. Royale, which is carefully crafted using prosecco, peach, lemon, strawberry, and sweet vermouth before getting topped off with a mini ice cream cone.
Beginning on March 2nd, Tipsy Scoop will be open every Tuesday through Sunday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm at 675 I Street NW.
Visitors must be 21 and older to indulge in the barlour’s alcoholic scoops, sundaes, cocktails, flights, and pints. There are non-alcoholic flavors available as well, so feel free to bring ice cream lovers of all ages!
